PASSES: BOLD LINES
RUNS: DOTTED LINES
Open game scenario to work on overall teamwork and passing that will lead to a cross into the box. Repetitions will hopefully improve the quality of both the defenders and the attackers. Work on attacking overloads on each side to encourage overlapping runs from the full backs. Progress by using video analysis to provide participants with examples of when both teams did well and what they can change if necessary. The two cones on either side of the box act as a gate which allows for a shot to be taken rather than a cross, to encourage the defending team to push further out and stop the shot as well as the cross.
Rotate wingers with full backs to ensure they are attacking against or defending against their own position.
