DESCRIPTION

Half field to give aerobic aspect with sprint after pass. 2 starting gates and 6 markers (red) as shown. Start with a dribble through the gate. Long pass up to top wide player (11) who set the ball back to a midfield supporting player. The ball is player up to a high player who will dribble and pass to the starting player in the opposite group to begin their rotation. Both sides can play simultaniously.

COACHING POINTS

Good short and long passing. Running with the ball at speed and sprinting to position.

  • Variation :Start at goal end and reverse the drill which enables a shooting opportunity.
