Space cones 10 mtrs apart diagonally, centre cones should be placed 10mtrs apart horizontally.
Player starts at top center cone and coach/player starts at bottom cone, top player moves from left to right depending on pass from bottom player, be it left, right or centre.
different techniques can be used on this from passing, volleys or headers.
objective of drill.......
quicker reactions, cleaner passes, quick feet/movement, good body movement, player constantly active and not standing straight up getting better low centre of gravity, better ball control.
Suggestions.......
lots of water intake between 1 minute drills, suggestion of swapping players each minute on drill so one always active whilst other takes break just passing rather than sprints/runs.
added suggestion of getting coach/player to call which side of passing.
1 minute fast paced sessions....
1) passing with inside foot left or right
2) passing with outside foot left or right
3) top of foot volley left or right
4) one touch passing
5) 2 touch passing
6) Headers (centre line straight headers or left or right side headers)
7) high ball pass, chest ball down and pass left, right or centre
