Cones are set out in a circle as per the diagram, with gates making up the outer circle, facing single cones on the inner circle with a single cone marking the centre.
Phase 1 - Players in the outer gate and inner cones pass between each other alternating feet.
Phase 2 - The players on the outer circle now run to the next point on the clock in a clockwise direction after making a pass.
Phase 3 - The players on the inner circle now turn an dribble to the center point and back before passing to the new player arriving at the gate in front of them.
Players should be encouraged to be ready to receive the ball and concentrate on their body position and first touch.
Passes should be crisp and accurate, and players should be encouraged to think about how underweighted or inaccurate passes helps our opposition in matches.
Once we have moved on to Phase 2 & 3 players should be encouraged to think about the timing of their runs and passes to keep the "clock" moving all the time.
