DESCRIPTION

  • 5 outfield players and a GK for each team.
  • Play starts with yellows having two small goals to score in to and greys also with two goals to score in to. 
  • If a team scores through the small goals then the opposing team starts play with the ball from the outside. 
  • When coach shouts SWITCH! game becomes a two goal game playing in to the big goals at each end. 

COACHING POINTS

  • Angles and distance of support
  • Accuracy, weight and timing of the pass
  • Creating width in the play so you can create space.
  • Involving the GK's in play. GK's cannot have pressure applied to them in the small goal section for the first 5 minutes of this game then the restriction is lifted as a progression. 
  • Be aware of opposition players in space.
