Main Phase
Cones and Goles
Organisation:
The players are divided into pairs with one ball per pair. They play one against one on a pitch with four cones, placed in each corner of the pitch, as goals and they score a goal by hitting one of their opponents’ cones with the ball. This is a game of one against one so it will mostly be a practise of feinting and dribbling as well as defending one against one. Try having four players per pitch, divided into two teams, playing one against one in turns and count together the number of goals the team scores. Swap opponent regularly or after each goal.
Variations:
Give out extra points for different skills that you want to practise for example a certain skill of feint – dribble.
