Aim of the drill is to encourage players to look up while dribbling and check what is going on around them.
Have a short line of girls (RED) with a ball each. First RED player passes to BLUE who controls and delivers a through pass for RED to run on to.
RED then dribbles the ball through the 3 black cones BUT must be aware of coach (in GREY) standing at side who will hold up either a RED, BLUE or YELLOW coloured cone while they are dribbling (NO shouting the colour!). THe player must then deliver the ball to the correct coloured cone and GREEN player must come forward to receive this pass and then escort the ball back to the end of the line. Original RED player moves to GREEN position and play starts again with next player in line.
BLUE player can be a coach or a player, but make sure you also rotate who is being BLUE after a few shots.
Close control of ball.
Accurate passing / through passing.
LOOKING UP instead of head down!
