This is one of a number of options you can use to get your players passing in triangles in order to create space and goal scoring opportunities (hopefully)
Here's how it works:
Players at the top of triangle starting with the ball are there for two passes (passes 1 & 3) before they move to the front position on the bottom left corner.
The player receiving pass 1 returns the pass (2) to the same player at the top of the triangle and runs behind behind the player in their group.
The player at the top of the triangle then plays their 2nd pass (pass 3) the bottom right.. and runs to the front of the pair at the bottom left corner..
Meanwhile pass 4 comes from the bottom right corner to the bottom left (this player runs around to back of their pairing) while their partner makes a run for through ball/pass number 5.. Pass 6 (which becomes a shot in the next phase of the drill) is the last stage of the exercise before it is repeated.
