DESCRIPTION

  • Split pupils into 2 teams
  • Place a set of stumps at each end of the pitch
  • Aim is to hit the stumps with the ball to score a point
  • Players can't move with the ball (2 steps)
  • Players start will rolling passes (Progression - throws, one hand etc)
  • Non-Contact! 
  • Team turns over the ball for a fumble or a dropped catch 

COACHING POINTS

  • Emphasise staying low to the ground
  • Eyes on the ball
  • Fingertips on the ground when recieving a rolling ball 
  • Side on position
  • Good through = easier catch 
  • Quick movements
