what type of activities will inprove my defence
Hi Amelia,
Good defending comes from clever positioning and decision making. Some people say that good defenders should never have to make a tackle as they channel the attackers into areas which means they give away the ball rather than tackling.
To get your defenders improving, its important to get them understanding where to channel attackers and to make clever decisions about whether to dive in or not.
Use this drill to get them light on their feet, not planting their body to get beaten, instead sending the attacker to where they want them to go.
I hope this helps.
