The object of this drill is similar to the first; to knock the opposition's ball off of a cone. This time, though, the players will remain behind a line of cones on their side and will fire shots at the opponent's perched ball across a Neutral Zone. Coach(es) stay in the Neutral Zone to collect any ball that stops within, because no players are allowed in the zone.
Stress proper technique (head down, side foot) Warn them to be careful not to knock their own team's ball off of the cone. Encourage with reckless abandon!!
