
Quick short passes
Duration: 15 minutes Area: 2 cones approx. 5m apart Equipment: 4 cones and one ball Setup: 4 cones approx 5m apart 3 Players 2 players will be fairly stationary and responsible for passing the ball to the 3rd player. 1 player will be moving and passing. Each player will go for 1-2 minutes, cycling through 2-3 times. Passes are quick and controlled. Before starting each step, provide a demo of what is expected. Instructions: P1 passes the ball to P2 P1 approaches P2 (about halfway) P2 passes to P1 P2 moves to other side of cone P1 passes to P2 P2 passes to P1 P2 moves back to other side of cone P1 passes to P2 P1 moves back to their cone (backwards, always facing the ball) P2 passes to P1 P1 turns and repeats with P3 Coaching Hints: âCall for the ballâ â players need to communicate for the ball Ensure âquick feetâ
