Set a cone 5 yards in front of post. Set a second cone on the goal line 10 yards from the post. A server stands outside the 6 yard box across from the opposite posts of where the cones were set up. Keeper starts at the forward cone facing the server. On the coach's signal the keeper backpedals, touches the post and then steps forward to receive the ball sent in by the server on the ground. Keeper jumps on ball, pushes the ball out to the side and gets up quickly. Server sends in a ball in the air for the keeper to make a save by either pushing it over the bar or catching it. Keeper puts the ball down and shuffles to a position between the cones where the server sends in the ball. Do 5 sets then switch sides.
Keeper must get up quickly to be ready to save the next ball. This is a fast paced activity to simulate rebound shooting.
