This exercise focuses on the outer players (in yellow) starting the simple passing sequence and continuing their OVERLAPPING run around the outside of the middle (white players). The outer players run through the drill a number of times before swapping with the middle players. This is the second sequence using this set up. In this sequence the outer player receives the ball and plays the same pass to the back marker (as shown) who this time plays the ball across to the corresponding player in the other middle pairing who then plays the through ball back to the outer player that started the move... Players must hold the ball as long as is necessaruy to avoid the other ball in play
