No tackling, jockeying drill. Both players start on a cone opposite each other. The objective for the player with the ball is to get to the other side. The defender must sprint out to the player with the ball and slow down their progression without actually tackling. This means that they should aim to keep their body goal side. Slowing down the attacker will allow other defenders to get back in a full size game. The defender cannot touch the ball Do this drill in a line of players to see who makes it back first.
