Split the children up into 2 groups one standing on one side and the other standing opposite from them in a sort of zig zag pattern you give the ball to the child at the very end of the zig zag caterpillar like pattern and you explain to the children that you pass the ball up the caterpillar once you pass it you must run to the front of the caterpillar and keep it moving. This exercise ends when the ball is dropped or when it is time to move on
