Dribble And Shoot

DESCRIPTION

  • STAGE ONE - Just have them dribble down the outside of the cones then dribble through the top gate and then shoot before they reach there gate, obviously people coming from the right finish with the right foot and people coming from the left finish with their left foot. You join the other side after each turn.
  • STAGE TWO - Now they have to dribble through the cones down the side.
  • STAGE THREE - Keep them dribbling through the cones but its now a race and the first one to the white gate must wait while the other player retreats into the box and becomes a defender he isnt allowed to tackle and can only jockey, the first player to the gate is now an attacker and must create space to get a shot away, the two gates now become a line that neither player can cross.

COACHING POINTS

  • Have somebody collecting the balls left by the defenders
  • Make sure they are sprinting to the shooting gates
