Players are set up in wide areas on the right and left side of the pitch. Players on the left are passing in small combinations working space to cross. They play in a triangle set up and can 'find a way in' to get into a crossing position, this can be done by the winger or a full back on an overlap.
The player will either be played in or a take a touch to cross, at which point the remaining players will attack the ball to score. The play will then occur down the right, and the left sided players will go to score.
The main focus will be on where to cross from different positions, e.g. if on the touchline stand the ball up or cut it back, deeper then whip the ball into an across in between GK and defenders etc.
Players from the midfielders and wide midfielders sessions will combine to work on midfielders getting the ball wide to score from wide areas
