1 GK - 3 CBs - 2 WB (Static) - 1 CM (Static)
2 Opposing FW
The 2 Opposing FWs start the phase with a shot on goal.
1.) Ensure that the CBs are pushing out after the GK initially receives the ball in order to create enough space to play out of the back.
2.) Ensure that CBs are neither too close together nor too far apart. If the Central CB moves too close to either CB they are essentially duplicating the role of the GK and providing one less option to move the ball. If they are too far apart then it is too risky for the outer CBs to try and switch play.
3.) If given the space, the central CB should try to dribble as far out as possible and play the ball wide or further upfield.
