A straight forward 3v3 game sitation where the defenders must prevent the attackers from getting through the back line and score a goal. the session starts with 1 goalkeeper, 3 defenders and three attackers. The attackers play the ball into the attackers feet, a 10 metre pass is a good distance for a starting point between the attackers and the defenders.
Once the attacker has recieved the ball from the defender they will approach the defense. The defensive need to communitcate and use a man to man approach and press the attackers coming towards them. For example, once the ball has reached the feet of the attacker the defence should the push out and press the attackers by movng toowards them. They should defend as a unit, communicating and preventing the attackers from getting passed or taking a shot at the goal.
For every goal scored is 1 point
for every successful defensive overtake in possession wether its a tackle, interception is 1 point also
In this situation we focus on the defenders and what they need to do to stay compact and shut out the attackers throught the game.
> communication
> compact defensive line
> roles; pressure and cover
