the purpose of the drill is for clearance, when the ball gets passed to a forward you have to beat the forward in a heading competition so you can clear it out of the danger zone or close to the danger zone. its also for beginners to get used to heading, its a easy drill.
Tip: heading below the ball will head it upwards, heading it above will head it downwards proof on video and its common sense.
