Setup: 30x30 area divided into 4 squares. 4 balls, players divided into 4 different groups.
How to Play:Red bibs start, each go to a different square. They play passes to a red in another square the move to the empty square. Yellow team and Blue team are added followed by the final team who act as defenders trying to intercept.
4 corners:
Technical:Ball Control, Positioning, Making space
Psychological: Pass selection, Awareness
Physical: Receiving the pass, Agility, Passing
Social: Communication, Teamwork, Competitiveness
- Attack: Timing of pass. Do not pass for the sake of it, advance with ball until a defender is engaged and then play the ball beyond them. If defender does not engage, look to shoot
- Attack: Once the pass is played, don't rest. Ensure you move into space to keep the benefit of the overload
- Defence: Don't rush into the tackle and risk leaving the overload even more stacked. Use body shape to push the man in possession away from goal.
