11 players in a possession based drill. 3 colours. 3 blue, 4 red and 4 yellow. 20x20 met wit the 2 white markers a further 5 mets back. Play 1 blue centrally against 4 yellow, 2 blues and 4 reds on the outside create a 7 v 4 situation. If the yellow win possession they quickly replace the red team.The game needs to dynamic and high intensity.
Basically an exercise of positional support, off the ball movement and clear passing lanes. 4 defenders look at defending as a unit and denying space in a press. Coach only 1 topic at a session.....either possession or defending/pressing
