Create a grid approximately 25 x 25m. Split the players in two teams and place to pugs at the middle of the two end lines.
PROGRESSION 1
Blue player (the defender) plays a pass to the red player (the attacker). He has to make a good directional first touch and speed up towards one of the two posts. He needs to be aware of the defenders position and decide whether to change direction towards the other post or speed up towards his first option. As soon as he scores (1 POINT) he needs to make a quick transition towards the second post. If he reaches the post first he gets an extra point if the defender gets their first he gets the point.
PROGRESSION 2
Same sequence but now for the attacker to be able to score he has to first pass through the small yellow post infront of each goal.
PROGRESSION 3
Same sequence but now go 2v2.
