DESCRIPTION

4 v 4 in the centre.

Teams must get the ball through a gate to their team mate who must take a good touch before playing it back in to their team mates who now attack down the other side of the pitch.
Grey player on the outside behind the goal is not allowed tackle the yellow and vice versa.
If the outside player doesn't control the ball then the grey outside player will start with the ball for his team.
If the ball goes out of play then play restarts with the coach serving in a ball.

COACHING POINTS

Angles and distance of support
Accuracy, weight and timing of the pass
Concentration and movement with the play, particularly for the player on the outside who may not feel like they are involved but are key to this game.
Creating width in the play so you can create space.
