1vs1 Dribble into Shot

DESCRIPTION

  • 1vs 1, dribbling into a shot
  • Each player dribbles with the ball up to the white line, only the first player to reach the line gets to shoot.
  • The player who reaches the line second must become a defender and attempt to tackle the attacker before the yellow line. 
  • If the attacker gets through, they can then tae the shot at the goal.

COACHING POINTS

  1. Short sharp touches when drbbling the ball to enable full control when running.
  2. When shooting, focusing on correct technque for whichever shot is desired.
  3. When tackling, attempt to try and get in front of the defender. No tackling from behind.
