Set-up:
1 Goal
Any amount of players can be used.
3 Blue Cones, 2 White Cones (Player on each cone + One Goalkeeper = Players on white cones are wingers/crossers. Players on Blue cones are attackers.
Description of drill:
Ball starts with a player at a blue cone and is transferred to any of the two other players on another blue cone by only using one touch. When players feels necessary the ball is then transferred with a long pass to one of the wide players (Players on a white cone)
After the ball is transferred to a wide player, the attackers (on the blue cone) make a run into the box to try and finish the cross that is played by one of the wide players after recieving the intial pass.
When shot has beeen executed, play resets from the Blue cones.
If extra players are availble then they could be the second group of 3 to keep it flowing.
After a couple of times, swap the wide players.
Different ways in which to shoot, Volley, half volley, first time, laces, inside/outside foot, heading
Supporting leg in a stable position
Body position in relation to the ball (reaction/movement)
Execution of technique
Look where GK is positioned
Finesse vs. Power
Supporting Player Follow for rebound
