Shape your team up with who you have in mind as your Starting XI for the upcoming game. Have these players in Red Bibs.
Start with a back four- simulating the opposition. Have these players in Yellow Bibs.
Get the oposition team to circulate the ball through from RB->CB->CB->LB then from LB->CB->CB->RB with the strating XI moving in acordance to where the ball is and maintaing good shape. Once you are happy with the shape of the team you can introduce the progression of the 'opposition' trying to play over the top of the defence, meaning the back 4 now have to recognise when to drop and who needs to cover. Who ever attacks the ball, the other CB drops to cover/sweep and the Full Backs give good balance/depth.
Encourage the 'oposition' to play direct balls over the top from different angles, eg. some from CB position and some from FB position both straight and diagonal.
