Purpose of excersise:
To develop individual habits of pressing whilst preparing the squad for the excerises to follow in the session.
Two possesion squares/areas. 7 v 3 to start off with, in both areas. with the initial 3 in each are being forward players. Then 7 v 3 again in the next set with both sets of 3 being central midfielders. Followed by the final set of 6 v 4 with both sets of 4 being defenders.
The aim of keeping the front 3, midfield 3 and back 4 together when pressing is to increase communication within units and the cohesion within the press when it comes to implementing it into a game situation.
