Hi Neil,

Here's a fun 1-hour coaching session plan for under 11 girls:

  1. Warm-Up (10 minutes): Start with a light jog and dynamic stretches like lunges and hip rotations to get the muscles ready.
  2. Wembley Singles/Doubles (15 minutes): Set up a 30x40 area with 4 goals. Split players into groups for 1v1 or 2v2 games. This will get them moving and focused on scoring goals. More details can be found 1 here.
  3. 3 vs 3 Football (15 minutes): Play small-sided games where each team has a goal to defend and attack. Encourage passing and dribbling to score goals.
  4. Skill Development (10 minutes): Focus on dribbling and passing drills to improve ball control and confidence.
  5. Cool Down (10 minutes): Finish with light jogging and static stretches to help the muscles recover.

This session should be both fun and engaging, helping the girls develop their skills in a playful environment. Enjoy coaching!
