Hi Jo Goalkkeeper training for young players should be kept simple, get them doing plenty of basic hand drills in their warm ups, the figure of 8, throw/catch, bouncing and catching the ball, work on their Fundamentals of movement (Agility, Balance & coordination and their speed) Sideways skipusing cones or ladders.
