i would like an ideal warm-up for football
It all depends on the age of your players and the time available. I coach an U9's team and we have 15 mins. before the start of our games. I start with some basic forward, sideways and backwards running before moving on to a simple game of pass and move in a confined area. This gets the kids heartbeats up and also gets the communication going. I dont even have to do anything now. When the boys arrive, they set out the cones and get started. at that age its all about teaching them good habits. They also know when they are off as a sub to keep moving and keep stretching.
Hope this helps
