What drills do you recommend I use to improve my team's ability to keep possession for longer?
Try small-sided passing drills, with two or three 'attacking' players against one or two defenders. See how long the attackers can keep the ball for away from the defence, and how many passes they can 'string' together before the ball is intercepted by the opposition. Keep your players trying to improve on this number, and switch it around by whoever intercepts the ball from the defending side swaps places with a player on the attacking side. Hope this helps!
If not, here is a good drill already on Sportplan to use and please do look up any more on the possession drills.
