This is my first season managing under 8 team , some of my boys play as individuals and look for personal glory i.e. Scoring goals , how do I get them into the habit of passing to a team mate in a better position and thinking of the team first.

One idea could be a rule where they need to make 3 passes in order to score a goal, could even make it 3 forward passes. Another idea could be to limit the space in the middle but also create zones on either side where a player can not be tackled for a few seconds or certain space. This was you could coach that because there isn`t much space in the middle section, they need to find a free man in order to score a goal.
