They must work as a unit and face up to the two outer lane teams. The two outer lane teams (in white) must try to pass the ball between each other and through to the other side. The defending team must travel from side to side. They can only face up and block passes at the line of cones nearest the team that has the ball. When play has been switched, they must turn around and face up the other side to stop the ball being passed through again. Each time the defending teams blocks a ball they earn a point. Each time the outer lane teams gets the ball through they earn a point, play is stopped and the coach advises the defending team how to improve their tactical or technical mistake.
