For each little pitch there must be 3 defenders (Numbered 1-3) and 3 attackers (numbered 1-3). When the number is called, the corrosponding attacker & defender must enter the pitch, defending players on the goal side. The rest of the players take place around the edge of the pitch. 2 opposide the goal and 1 on each side. They can move up and down the line. Play starts from an outside player opposite the goal passes it to the attacker. The attacker must use the outside players to send attacking balls. The passes cannot be made directly to the player, they have to be infront of the attacker, so the attacker has to maie runs, and the defender has to defend them. To score They must have recieved at least 1 through ball.
Defender always working goalside of the player. Helps teach the defender to watch for off the ball runs and attempt to intercept through balls. Aim to defend goal area with no tight marking.
