This drill puts your team into a game situation. There are 2 batsman with the rest of the team placed on the markers which are placed in a regulation positions for an offside field. The coach imitates bowling to the on strike batsman. The idea is for the batting pair to score 21 runs without getting out or however many runs in a certain time period. The fielders job is to stop the runs and create pressure to build up dot balls. However for each dot ball the fielding team is awarded 3runs whichever team reaches 21 first wins and a new batting pair comes in.
