Player 1 (attacker) starts with the ball, objective is to retain the ball as long as possible. Player 1 should try to keep the ball as close to the cone. Objective is not to run around the pitch but use his body to shield the ball without moving a great deal. Player 2 (Defender) should try to get around the attacker and gain posession od the ball.
1) Make sure the defender does not slide tackle.
2) Attacker should Keep the ball on the furthest foot from the defender. Use his body and arms to keep the defender at a distance
3) add some additional competition by asking them to count to see who can retain the ball the longest. make sure the players are switching rolls often so they experience both positions.
