Setup:
12 cones set into rows of 3x4 with 7yrd spacing
1 ball per player at the starting position
1 player begins in each space between cones 1-2-3 in each column
Action:
P2 checks to the cone to their right calling for the pass and P1 delivers
P2 turns while P3 checks to the cone to their left calling for the pass and P2 delivers (P1 runs to space vacated by P2's station and new player enters P1)
P3 turns while P4 checks to the cone to their left and calls for the pass and P3 delivers
The cycle continues around the grid and ends with a sprint with the ball around the outside of the course to beginning position by P9
Receive passes on the back foot to open into next play
Communication by each player is key
*You may begin the drill straight through instead of checking to the cones to establish the flow of the drill
