Players out of possession set up in their usual formation as if we have just given the ball away for a goal kick:
1 attacker, 4 midfielders
Defending team (in possession) set up in usual formation as if they are taking a goal kick (play out from the back etc).
Out of possession team will then need to block off all options as quickly as possible before the other team plays out from the back.
Occasionally the team in possession will mix things up and play long so they need to be prepared for this.
let the boys be creative and offer advice if needed.
