DESCRIPTION

Conclusion drill: 6v6 with goalkeepers

Drill:

  • red and blue team will be setup in a (1-goalie)-2-2-1 setup
  • There will be 2 goal boxes . 1 per team
  • This is formation allows for building up from the back
  • Field size is 60m x 40m
  • Only two touches are allowed

Coaching points:

  • Players must focus on good first touch and correct passing strength and power
  • The size of the field is a bit bigger so players must focus on getting the structure right when attacking from the back
  • Always checking the shoulders
  • Communication is very important
  • 3 touch limit. 2 touch limit to score.
  • Do not force the shot.
