3 Players work together to bring the ball up the field. They will start in a horizontal line about 15 yards apart. The middle player will start with the ball. He will pass it to the player on the left who is checking towards the center. The player who started with the ball will overlap the receiving player, thus becoming the new player on the left side. This is then repeated on the right side, with the player who received the first pass becoming the player in the center who makes a pass and then overlaps to the right.
Ensure that players are moving up the field TOGETHER and not getting too far ahead or behind of one another. The weave only works if the players are in sync and on the same page. The overlapping run needs to be a bit quicker than the rest of the runs because it is a longer distance to cover and keep pace.
