Set out cones as shown with the distance between each cone dependant on the players abilities (closer for experienced players). Players lineup behind one of the end cones. On comand, the first player will attempt to dribble the ball in between the cones (as seen in diagram). Players will dribble the ball up and back. When the player reaches the final cone, they may pass the ball to the next player who will repaet the process. Use multiple set ups to include a race element to the drill.
Players should focus on ball control. This can be achived by using small kicks rather than large and effective use of stopping/trapping. If this drill progresses to race conditions, players should also work on communication and encouragement.
