Sportplan is a very helpful resource and I really enjoy the wonderful...
David

DESCRIPTION

The goal is facing away from the opposite goal and the pitch continues around it. The white cones is the offside line, play can continue by dribbling or passing through the line which allowes maintainance of possession, but the goal only comes into play if the offside line is broken by running onto a pass.

COACHING POINTS

  • Allow players to try and solve the problem as a team for the first 5 minutes.
  • Asking players what they feel has worked and what can be improved.
  • Help the teams recognise the importance of being brave on the ball and in their movements off the ball.
  • (condition) working on each individuals awareness before the ball arrives, ensuring that the ball never goes dead.
