- Attacker starts at cone.
- They dribble into the 'skill square' (3x3yds), where they perform a skill
- They then take a touch out of the area and strike on goal
Level 1: No defender
Level 2: Passive defender in the skill square (does not tackle, but jockeys the attacker)
Level 3: Add a goalkeeper
Level 4: Defender becomes live (may need to make the square bigger), if defender wins the ball, she can counter attack to the goal.
(Ensure players use both feet for each level)
Coaching Points:
- Land on the striking foot
- Strike the centre of the ball
- Toes pointing downwards
- Contact the ball once the leg is straight
- Rotate the lower leg
