There will be three of four players lined up at the half way line each with a ball at their feet. They will pass the ball to the player to the right of them and then it will be passed to the other player with a first time pass. Then, that player will lay it off with another first touch manuver and the player from the half way line will run forward and hit the ball first time, aiming for the section in between the cones and goalposts.
Use the inside of the foot for the passing and shooting as the drill is to improve accuracy and placement off passes and shots.
The player will also learn how to time their run in this drill so they will run onto the ball and connect with it with momentum behind them.
