Ball is passed from the blue player to the red player.
1 - turning to the right using the outside of the right foot, the inside of the left foot or a cruyff turn
2 - turning to the left using the outside of the left foot, the inside of thr right foot or a cruyff turn
3 - letting the ball run through your legs, stepping over the ball and running after it (no touch turn)
Then pass the ball to the other blue player on the outside. Repeat this process. Make sure all players have a go at each role.
- Include different turns using the inside and outside of either foot.
- Move wide to create space.
- Communication verbally and visually.
- Look over shoulder before receiving the ball to check where the defender is as this could influence which turn to use.
- Could add a defender who either tackles fully or just puts the red player under pressure without tackling fully.
