This is a 3 vs 2 drill with 3 attackers and two defenders. The aim is for the attackers to score at the end of the move and the aim for the defenders is to break down the move by tackling or intercepting. This drill is aimed to improve attacking and defending in general as well as crossing as hopefully this set up will force players wide and so cross the ball to their team mates to try and score. If you have more/ less players or as a progression or regression more or less players can be used, the ratio of defenders to attackers can also be changed. The range of the drill can be altered so the attackers start closer or further away from the goal and a goalkeeper can be added.
