This is a drill that will help Sammy to improve her long passing. To start with, Sammy and a friend will need to set up an area like this one on a pitch or a playing field. The 8 cones should be spread across the whole pitch evenly. After settting up, Sammy and her friend can begin the drill. First both Sammy and her friend need to stand at Cones A (oppositely facing each other). Then they need to pass the football between themselves using as many touches as it takes to get the ball undercontrol and then to pass it. After Sammy and her friend have completed 10 successful passes between themselves and then they will move 2 yards backwards and do exactly the same as before, but they cannot move 2 yards backwards unless all 10 passes are successful and kpet within the inside of the cones. They should keep doing this until they both reach cones B and by then Sammy's and her frineds passing should be very accurate and their passes should be making it to ecah other. The whole point of this drill is to make Sammy and her friend concentrate on making their passes much more accuate and more succesful with the right weight of pass on the football, so then they can take that into a game playing for anyone.
To see if Sammy has improved her long passing, I will observe her in game situations to see that she has been doing the drill correctly because long passing is a key part of football.
