Open football encouraging to maintain possession, play out quickly and play forward when possible.
As coach look to encourage and reward confidence on the ball and when possession is maintained well from a team.
1. Communication and composure - Players to retain possession and play the ball forward when possible. Forward pass is not essential and maintaining possession is key focus although when possible and on the forward pass should be looked to be used.
2. Interaction - Interaction and communication between the team to give instructions to team mates, e.g. "time" or "man on"
3. Decision making - What type of touch should be used when recieveing the ball? what kind of pass should be played? and when can you play forward?
Create a resolution to develop your coaching confidence by seizing the opportunity to discover new drills, turn ideas into action and seek advice from the coaching community.
